Clean, running 1998 GMC 3500HD. Needs some repair for regular use including a injector pump, which is included. Many other spare parts are also included, a new PMD, water pump, radiator hoses, starter, fuel filter and lift pump. Only the injector pump is known to be bad but may have other less serious issues. Truck will still start easily and run well until it warms up, then the pump starts to fail and it loses power, goes into limp mode and stalls until it cools off. Runs well other than that.
All 6 tires are good as are the brakes. All the lights work and the cab seals up tight. This was a Nevada truck so no rust. I took off the original West Coast mirrors as it would not fit through alot of places i needed to go and I added newer style folding mirrors. The radio works. The AC works but needs a charge now and then and the fan wont blow on high speed. Does not seem to leak any fluids, it has been parked for months and no puddles forming. It does “seep” some oil and things here and there and you can smell them more than see them, but its an old Detroit Diesel they all leak. This one just isnt that bad.
It does have a block heater but I haven’t used it in years.
I have replaced the batteries, added new battery cables and grounds, a new glow plug relay, glow plugs and harness and degas/overflow bottle in the last couple of years. It will start fairly easily even in extreme cold and I have loaded it with thousands of pounds of lumber and material. She’s worthless in the mud with one wheel peel and steering tires all the way around.
Comes with removeable 4′ tall bedsides and the toolboxes pictured.
It is most definitely a work truck at its core, but it is one helluva work truck. Everyone at the fuel depot knows the sound of a 6.5

I bought this truck to get home from kentucky when a project failed. Runs down the road decent. Family used it as a daily for a year or so. Most everything works. Higher miles, so there’s small quirky things broken, like the window switches being screwed down on drivers door. Stains here and there. Back glass only unlocks from inside, so I just left it unlatched. Battery will die after a few days sitting. Engine light comes and goes. Tires are in good shape with camaro wheels. Definity not perfect but a great beater with a heater. Decent point a to b rig.

Straight 6 runs good. Manual transmission. Used to be “on the tree (column)”, then moved to the floor with a home made 2 lever system. Works, but takes a minute to get used to. Overall pretty solid truck but has typical rust in rockers and cab. Pretty rare longbed step side option with what used to be a wood floor (now made of air).

New Fuel Tank, Fuel sending unit, Fuel pump, Fuel lines, Rebuild TBI, New Injectors, plugs, wires, Distributor, Distributor module, tires, and more.
Transmission was weak and slipping. Was full of water but didn’t flush completely. Motor runs but not the best.

454 Big Block, Th400 Transmission. Front and rear air bags. Independent valves for front and rear with one tank. Sketchy rear link (see video). Pull small camper hundreds of miles. Motor is strong. Trans leaks ATF. Front driver air bag line/fitting currently leaks and front won’t air up (simple/cheap fix). Rusty, dented, faded paint. Project truck. You don’t be driving it home. Will run onto trailer with jump box and some air bag fiddlin. Title is signed/open and ready to transfer.
